Some common problems and how to avoid them:
1. The soda syphon releases water immediately or water leaks from the nozzle.
You have probably over-filled the syphon. Please fill with 1 litres of water using a measuring jug. Make sure that the measuring plastic tube is fitted inside the syphon bottle before filling with water. Fill the syphon up until water reaches the bottom of the measuring tube. If you over fill the syphon then the CO2 gas will not be able to mix properly with the water. If in doubt always UNDER-fill as this will ensure your water is carbonated.
2. My soda water is not carbonated.
Use 1 - 2 CO2 cartridges to charge a 1L syphon. Once the syphon has been 'charged' with the gas shake it vigorously - the more you shake it the better the CO2 and water will mix and the fizzier your soda water! Use cold water and store the syphon in a cool place.
3. Can I add juice or alcohol to my soda syphon?
Adding other liquid to your syphon may cause it to not function properly or damage it - please add flavours to your soda once it has been dispensed into a gas.
