The Saf-T Unloader - USE ONLY INNOVATIONS BRAND CO2.
CO2 powered, hand-held unit designed to safely unload muzzle loading guns. The Saf-T-Unloader can also be used between shots to remove sparks, embers or oxygen, and cools the barrel - avoiding any accidental discharges! This is a "must have" for any hunter or shooting enthusiast.
Comes with 1 x 16g NT CO2 Cartridge.
Adapters are also available (sold separately - contact us for prices) for most muzzle loading weapons including: flintlock, #11 percussion, musket cap, #9 shotgun primer, and most inline guns.
Details:
Your Saf T Unloader can be used with our standard 16g non-threaded cartridges. We recommend that you only use Genuine Innovations cartridges as other brands contain oils and may contaminate your gun?s priming mechanism. The CO2 cartridge is under extreme pressure- around 900 PSI. DO NOT attempt to puncture cartridge. DO NOT unscrew the Saf T Unloader head until its? contents have been depleted or injury may result. DO NOT store Saf T Unloader or refill cartridges in temperatures above 120 degrees, in direct sunlight or in an enclosed vehicle. NEVER discharge the Saf T Unloader towards face or body. Keep out of the reach of children.
Assembling the Saf T Unloader: Your Saf T Unloader comes with 1 16g CO2 cartridge. To assemble your unit for use; first unscrew the head of the Saf T Unloader. Drop the CO2 cartridge into the lower cup with the small end pointing up. Screw head back on, clockwise until resistance is felt. You will hear a small amount of gas being released when the cartridge is pierced, this is normal. Screw the adapter into the port clockwise until it is firmly seated. Your Saf T Unloader is now ready for use.
Saftey Lock feature: Using thumb, move the red safety lever to the up position to lock the CO2 valve closed. Moving the lever to the down position unlocks the front CO2 trigger and allows CO2 to be dispensed.
In the event that the projectile does not exit the muzzle check the following:
Check to make sure that the nipple is clean and unobstructed.
Ensure that the projective is fully seated against the breech area.
Install a new CO2 cartridge.
If the above remedies do not work, remove the projectile in the manner described in your firearm?s instruction booklet.

Read and understand these instructions before using the Saf T Unloader.
Always wear safety or shooting glasses when using this product.
Always remove the percussion cap, primer or pan charge (flintlocks) before using the Saf T Unloader.
Be safety conscious! Always know where your muzzle loading gun is pointing. Discharge your gun into something soft. Hard surfaces, like rocks or trees, will cause the bullet to ricochet and may cause serious injury. Never discharge gun in to the air.
Never attempt to re-use the powder or bullet once it has been unloaded from the gun.
Never use the Saf T Unloader for purposes other than that for which it is intended.
